Our new environmental activities
With respect to the “environmental thinking” of the hotel management and under the auspices of the Prague 7 deputy mayor, our hotel decided to support throughout the school year the T.G. Masaryk School in Prague 7, located near the hotel. Environmental activities have always been important to us, which is why we are now supporting the school by having equipped both buildings with trash bins for plastic and paper and paying for a monthly collection of recyclable waste containers for the school. To help and have a positive impact on the environment doesn’t necessarily mean big investments. Each of us can contribute to some degree by the way we live and act!
Bicycle hire
As a result of our hotel’s environmental philosophy, we have decided to extend our bicycle hire services. Environmental thinking is close to our hearts and we are pleased to support permanently sustainable development. We are sure that your bicycle trips will make your stay in Prague that much more pleasant. You can easily and quickly get to the well-known ‘Stromovka’ park from the hotel.
Bicycle hire: 1 hour.....200 CZK, Each additional hour...50 CZK.
Earth Day 22.4. 2011
In terms of this ecological celebration - 22.4.2011, “Earth Day”, we as the Eco-hotel Plaza Alta decided to support the philosophy of this day by offering our guests free of charge bicycle hire from 22.4. until 24.4.2011. And also all employees rode on bicycle to work! Joining the effort is easy!
